How Much Great Weather Can A Person Take?
Another week of clear skies and cool temps is nearly at an end. The snow is holding up well and there has been extensive snowmaking most nights (including last night).
The snow is generally hard packed and the groomed runs are by far the best. The SuperTrail was very enjoyable this morning, as it was yesterday. I also found that the groomers around Sponars and High Noon could be carved without the use of a concrete saw.
Skiing and boarding are limited for most to the groomed runs but as today’s temperature rose, there was a promise that the off-piste may soften up, as it did last weekend.
Inter School races are on again tomorrow through Sunday so expect a little congestion around the centre of the SuperTrail.

Some light snowfalls have been predicted for Friday-Saturday but we are hanging out for something more significant than what is forecast.
I heard today that snowmaking will cease at the end of August. I will have to check on that but I know we sure will miss the snowmakers’ magic.
