Rain Gone - Sun Back

A very short but heavy snowfall on Thursday afternoon added around 15cm to the base and grass. This made an enormous change. I wasn't out in the snowfall but reports have it as being a fantastic experience as the snow was really light and dry.

Sunny weather and light breezes on Friday and Saturday made for great skiing and boarding. The snow pack started to firm pretty quickly but there was some great soft and dry to be found in and out of the resort.

Today the winds are up and some cloud is blowing over the resort. The windchill is around -26C making lift rides a tad unpleasant.

The snowmakers are taking advantage of the lower temperatures and are pumping out great volumes of man-made wherever possible.

The forecasters have light snowfalls continuing over the next week.
