Corporate Climate
After Friday’s lovely 5cm of fresh snow and the bureau’s forecast of much more to come, I really expected more from the snow falls on Friday night and Saturday.
Large wet snowflakes were the order of the day but apart from a couple of hours on Friday night they mostly converted to rain in the village and on lower slopes. We had 10cm of wet fresh awaiting us on Saturday morning and a reported 5cm on Sunday but it was hard to find. After Friday night no new snow fell on the lower part of the resort.
Warm temperatures, low cloud and the high humidity level meant that the new snow was sticky and grabby while the groomers were soooooft. I was glad that I did not venture any lower than the bottom of Cruiser chair on Saturday afternoon. Those who did got soaked. On Sunday it was slush city on the lower slopes but the cover held up despite the moguls.

The corporate games and other races over the weekend must have been demanding upon both officials and contestants. Bank holiday skiers and boarders have a fine day to look forward to on Monday. Hopefully more snow is on its way soon.
