No New Snow But One New Run

Saturday presented us with beautiful weather and even the holiday crowds were tolerable if you were prepared to look around for lifts with short lift lines.

Sunday arrived without the promised snowfalls. Dark clouds rolled overhead in the morning looking like rain clouds but apart from a few snow flurries there was little precipitation. Eventually the sun broke through but the winds kept increasing in strength.

To my surprise (because I usually ski left side of High Noon) there is a new ski run in Thredbo this season. Actually, it is the resurrection of a section of the old "High Noon" run.

One more week of school holidays to go and the village is heavily booked.

My next task is to find out what the two snow cats were doing working furiously today around Sasha's Schuss.
