Ready, Set, Snow

The snowmaking may start in two weeks time. The new cable on Snowgums has had good live-weight testing, the slopes are groomed and the exit trails cleared.

We have been having very mild days and good frosts each morning. Everything looks ready except for the lack of wax on my skis.

There may be some agreeable weather towards the end of this week.

After a two-year absence I have again produced a report on my latest overseas ski trip. Not a lot of words but if 'a picture is worth a thousand words' then it may be another epic. Anyway, click this link (http://www.ciau.com.au/snow/jpn2008/japan08a.htm) to see bits of Mr Grumpy’s 2008 sojourn.
