But There's More ... A Dozen Turns With Every ...

Saturday was a beautiful day although I would have preferred the wind being just a little stronger so my kite could tow me around the main range. After a late start I trekked out towards Kosciuszko.

There had been a major melt down since my last trip onto the main range but still there were some nice slopes left. The top 2-3cm was soft but the base still firm and the snow was much faster than what we had been experiencing in the resort a week ago.

Signature Hill was sweet and worth the climb

There were a lot of people out on the main range but mostly doing the pilgrimage to the top of our continent. A lot of aerobic exercise and sunshine and fresh air, a pleasant packed lunch on top of a quiet peak and a few turns on the untracked slopes made for a great day.

With the forecast of rain tomorrow, it may be a few days before I get another report out but I haven’t finished yet.
