New Year 2005

As a final gift from Mother Nature to Thredbo for 2004 it snowed last Monday/Tuesday. I arrived back in the village late Tuesday afternoon and there was not a sign that village had been covered in white early in the morning.

Since then the weather has been slowly warming but nothing unpleasant. Temperatures are above zero but the wind chill up on the main range has keep temps below zero at times.

The last snow drifts have almost disappeared within the resort and are rapidly shrinking on the main range.

The wild flowers are out. Shakespeare starts on the green tonight and bush walking and mountain biking are full on.
