Merry Christmas

After weeks of rain the weather finally turned late last week into more of a summer pattern. Everything is green except for the next wave of wildflowers. There is very little snow left near the resort and the remaining drifts on the main range are shrinking fast.

There are flies about but so far nothing like last summer and now the rain has ceased the fish may back for those interested in that sort of thing. The temperatures have been pleasantly cool – nothing like those recently in Sydney, Canberra of much else of the country.

I’m off for a few days – see the family – all that Christmas sort of thing. Thredbo will be a great place for Christmas for those lucky enough to be there. I’ll be back for New Year and hope to get some updated photos whilst trying to walk off those extra kilos that somehow attach themselves to the bod over Christmas.
