Rusutsu on the Up and Down

Peter in Rusutsu reports that conditions are on the improve. There had been lots of wet snow but he now says that they have had some good snow, although it tends to get heavy by the afternoon. Peter adds that the weather looks cold for the next a week. Currently -17C up top.

Wish we had -17C up top in Thredbo. It's been hot and humid. Temps up top reached 21.5C, luckily not as high as the 23C forecast. As you can imagine the temp in the village is somewhat warmer. Yes, I know it's nothing compared to the 40C+ in Sydney and other parts.
