Status Quo

Only a short report this morning as I'm heading off to Sydney for a couple of days.

The school holidays ended prematurely on Friday. Crowds were down again on both Saturday and Sunday despite great weather. The snow guns have been pumping out huge volumes of snow each night and keeping the Supertrail, High Noon, Sundowner, Merritts and Friday Flat operational.

The off piste yesterday was virtual boiler plate but the groomers were quite enjoyable - fast yet with a layer of new man made snow that let you get an edge in.

The snowmaking and lack of expected crowds has actually enabled on piste conditions to improve slightly each day.

Snow is forecast this week with the heaviest falls in the later part of the week. Let it dump. Next report probably Friday afternoon.
