From Hot To Cold
After a very warm Friday night, the temperature in Thredbo has been dropping since 9am yesterday. Heavy cloud and light rain are making for a lovely cool environment. Actually, the temperature has been dropping ever since Jax bought an air conditioner. Good job - it's working like a community air con :-)
Meanwhile Rosco has been having to deal with variable snow conditions in the northern hemisphere. He hasn't bothered to get much in the way of photos of the waist-deep, face-shot inducing runs that he has been enjoying. But why would you when it's so much fun? Rosco has sent me photos of the other times when the snow has not been so all consuming.

This could have been the 'finish' of this Finn ;-)
until Rosco came to the rescue (after a photo of course)
Oh yes, there's still some skiing ...

If you are hanging out for some face shots, here is a video that Andy took last month above Waterfall.
Meanwhile, back in Oz:
The Thredbo Blues Festival starts on Friday January 18th.
I really hope this rain we are getting will help lessen the massive task facing our fire fighters. Job well done boys & girls!
As for the school-aged arsonists, keep them in school over summer, every summer; they're obviously bored with their school holidays.
