Fab Friday
For the third week in a row, Friday skiing has been fabulous with freshies everywhere. The snow guns had had a big night and within 30 minutes of them stopping this morning, the snow started falling. The really big snow storm didn't start till mid morning and it's been dumping ever since (except for a 15 minute break - see photos).
I stayed out till midday but the snow was still getting better and deeper when I came in. The visibility was difficult away from the trees. I got first tracks on Supertrail and had wonderful runs on Plan A, Plan B and Plan B2. Little Beauty had been groomed and was a delightful way back to the village. The Golf Course and FunnelWeb were very popular but Karels and The Basin were extremely hard to see.
I apologise for lack of action photos. Either the vis was too poor or I was busy enjoying the snow too much to take snappies.

During a 15 minute break I snapped the following 2 photos

And continuing with the coffee theme ...

The forecasters are already talking about 20-30cm next week. Could it happen 4 weeks in a row? September skiing & boarding is looking exceptional.
