Chill Out - The Chills On

After a spectacular thunderstorm last night there was a heavy fall of hail intermingled with rain and sleet. After a later thunderstorm and more hail the snow/sleet began to fall revealing a whitish layer over the upper slopes of Thredbo.

With snow making to begin soon, this base freeze is very timely.

As for the rumour around town about a one metre dump today ... I'm still holding my breath ... but it is still snowing up high and sleeting in the village.
