Ski Patrol Race

Yesterday was a good groomer day. Much quieter than on the weekend. Today the weather began to change and the groomers were still fantastic. The off piste was also better today with some fresh wind-blown snow starting to accumulate.

Last night 10 of us held a little Ski Patrol Raffle party where a sizable number of raffle tickets were sold by volley patroller Sibby. If you haven't already got your tickets then approach a volley patroller. Only $5 each and I can vouch for their great value - I won second prize last year - a pair of great Rossi skis.

However the big event of the week so far was the annual Ski Patrol Race. Usually held on a Thursday and after the Memorial Race it was sprung on us earlier than usual - today Tuesday.

Fun was had by all whilst raising money for the Ski Patrol. The sausage sangers were, as always, a special treat.

Congrats to all winners and thanks to all sponsors.

The Memorial Race is on Thursday with entries on Wednesday. The theme is to come as whatever or whomever you wanted to be when you were 10 years old. Great prizes and great fun. I know what I'm going as but I'll bet no one can guess it. The race is open to everyone and you don't have to be fastest to win, just be consistent.
