Telstra Are At It Again

If you have been wondering where have my reports have gone, especially when we so close to the start of the snow season, well it’s like this.

I’ve moved from my previous apartment to the apartment immediately above. A week ago I requested Telstra move my phone line to the apartment above - a mere 3m vertical. I still have no phone. No internet. No business or personal calls.

Considering my history with Telstra I should not be surprised but this personal persecution is above and beyond the call of duty of the most seasoned sadist. It may be the big black X against my name or some other vendetta by person or persons unknown within Telstra management but this time they have pushed me well over the edge. Marion has kindly allowed me access to the internet to put out the following and possibly last Richard's Report.

It starts off by you asking a simple question and then they turn on the bullying and harassment as the lies/false promises begin.

You find you are chained to one spot for hours on end, unable to move, eat, drink or even go to the toilet, all along being promised, "this won't take long".

You are inflicted to hours of unbearable music and crass advertising. There is no relief. You are kept awake at night with your mind spinning and constantly feel sick, making the thought of eating a distant longing.

Then when you can't take any more, they promise you that everything will be OK and that it's all sorted, only to find out every new day that nothing has changed and you are still a prisoner of their cruel psychological games.

Even on the weekend they keep you confined within your apartment saying that someone is coming to help but no one ever comes.

Forget about trying to run a business or get any work done. You are a prisoner of their torture 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and as my past experience has shown it can continue for many, many months if not years.

You may think I'm writing from Guantanimo Bay. The prison guards there could learn a thing or two from Telstra. For starters, Telstra actually extracts money from their helpless, tortured victims and Federal Law appears to protect them from any wrongdoing.

Telstra has harmed such a high proportion of a nation's population that even Stalin, Pol Pot and Hitler would be impressed with their methods. Who else could turn upon their own fellow citizens with such cruelty?

My call goes out to all Telstra employees hiding behind first names and ID numbers. Like the lowly ranked employees of Stalin, Pol Pot and Hitler, you probably believe you are not hurting anybody. "Just doing what I was told to do" is often the cry from war crime tribunals when some lowly soldier is held account for rape, torture and worse. How many Australians have died as a result of Telstra's actions? I think many. Sure, Telstra hasn't shot them in the back of the head as a brave soldier might but it sure would have caused or contributed to the heart attacks, strokes, suicides and many more stress related diseases of it's victims. The cost to the public of all these stress related diseases caused by Telstra must be massive but Federal Law limits any claim against them. Why? Why is there no justice in this land?

If I were bullied at work the way Telstra is bullying me, work cover would jump all over them. If I sprouted the continual lies about fixing things and tech appointments that don’t occur like Telstra have to me, the ACCC and Fair Trading would shut me down. If a child were treated to the same cruel psychological torture that Telstra inflicts on me day after day, the child would be protected by government agencies and the perpetrators jailed.

Why are the Telstra board, management and employees allowed to continue to harm so many ordinary Australians year after year with no redress?

My physical and mental health (if it isn’t obvious by the tone of this report) have suffered severely. Yes, I have sought medical help - more costs to me - the victim.

Even the NSW Labor government could run Telstra better than the Telstra board and look what they're paid. Politicians selling essential services should never be re-elected - ever. Watch as millions of Australians are persecuted and/or die from the privatisation of electricity and water and roads, etc, etc, etc...
