Last Wednesday night the snowmakers fired up their guns – all of them I believe. They pumped out snow for about 5 hours and then …?

Ever since then we have had moist winds from the southeast. At times temperatures fell below –4C but with humidity levels in the 90s no snow was permitted to spew forth from the guns mounted across the resort.

There’s now little to nothing to be seen from last Wednesday’s spray. The official start to the snow season is next weekend. Bring some with you, please.
