Snow Forecast In 2009
The slopes are green and moist. The daily temperatures are simply wonderful. I, like many others were wearing fleece and gloves while walking out onto the main range on Wednesday. A wind chill of around 1C has kept the flies well away.
The Thredbo Historical Society opened its latest venue on Tuesday. Kim Clifford presented the ceremonial key to a newly renovated area behind the Fun and Games Room under the Kozi room in the hotel. Drop in sometime and check out what Thredbo was like, what they wore and skied upon in times past. Of course some still ski in and on the same equipment.

The bureau says there is a 20% chance of snow overnight above 1900m. Yes, it is summer and the days are getting shorter. Winter will soon be upon us once again. Thanks to Toni's observation that there must be an 80% chance of no snow.
New Years Eve was spent dining with friends at the Denman - a fun night with Wizard & Oz performing - thanks Ed & Judy. I didn’t see or hear any fireworks at midnight, curious as there were none on the October long weekend either.
Happy New Year to all readers and especially to Jill & Norman (and happy birthday for Saturday).
Telstra Grump: I received a letter from the ombudsman telling me I have been elevated to Level 3. I wonder how many other thousands of disgruntled and unsatisfied Telstra customers are there already?
