Forecast Surprise
Nothing much has been happening in Thredbo. There has been sunshine and rain and the slopes are a lush green. The temperatures have remained pleasantly low with the odd overnight drop below zero and the flies have been a minimal problem.
But this weekend looks to be bringing an interesting change. The winds are up and the cloud is starting roll back in.

The forecast I heard on the radio this morning is for up to 30cms of snow this weekend with snow down to 1200m.
I hope to have some photos up early next week and some time after that I plan to put together a report or two on my runaway trip to the Victorian slopes during last winter.
No grump report today - no time, although I have noticed that the KT weather page is putting out spurious data.
Telstra update: Although my phone lines are finally operating correctly I'm still waiting on my accounts to be corrected before any compensation is sought.
