Autumn Days

The weekend was simply gorgeous. Warm autumn days with a cool breeze, blue skies and little or no flies to be encountered - a great time to be in the mountains and the valleys - whether it be walking, picnics, bike riding or fly fishing.

On Friday night Sante restaurant put on a preview of foods and wines that will be enjoyed under the new ownership. Thanks to Nino, Cathy and Mark for an enjoyable evening. Just love the chilli chocolate.

There are lots of events coming up in Thredbo. Oceania mountain bike championships, Easter, Jazz Festival, Thredbo 50th Birthday Ball and the June long weekend is not far away. Remember I was skiing on the main range in early April last year.

Forecasters are already calling for a wet winter. If so, then the temperature will be the deciding factor in whether we have a great or not so great winter.
