Many Big Hearts For A Very Big Cause
With almost 2500 entrants in this year’s Snowy Ride and a host of sponsors, donors, volunteers and supporters more than a quarter of a million dollars has again been raised for the Childrens Cancer Institute of Australia through the Steven Walter Fund.
The weather was perfect and I’m sure a wonderful time has had by all. At the presentations on Saturday afternoon, Kim Clifford commented that the only time he had seen more people on the village green was at the 2000 Olympic torch relay.
Last night the Angels put on a free concert in the village square to a huge crowd. There must have been some 70 years difference in ages amongst the audience and everyone was well behaved and had a great time.
Thanks to all involved in this year’s Snowy Ride in raising so much money and awareness of such a good charity. And it’s all on again next year.

Today the village returned to its quieter normal November state. The weather did eventually break with rain starting this morning and continuing on and off most of the day.
Snowgums chair now open for the next 4 weeks while Kosi chair is under maintenance. I believe that Black Sallees will be open during this time.
Don’t forget to do your bit to return Kosciuszko Park entry fees back to something reasonable? Click here. Annual passes are now $190 - well and truly more than double last year's fee of $88.
