Misty Mountains About To Roar

We have had a mix of drizzle, mist, sunshine and cold nights all leading up to a fine and warm (Thredbo ‘warm’) weekend.

‘Snowy Ride’ is on this weekend and we are expecting several thousand motor cycles in the village in an effort to again raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the 'Steven Walter Fund', that goes directly to 'The Children's Cancer Institute Australia'.

Once again the streets of Thredbo will rumble to the roar of two wheeled machinery and the village will be a festival of chrome and leather and music. The Angels (amongst many others) are performing on the weekend.

I’m led to believe that the Kosciuscko Express will close after this weekend for about four weeks for annual maintenance. Snowgums double chair will run during the break.

Don’t forget to do your bit to return Kosciuszko Park entry fees back to something reasonable? Click here. Annual passes are now $190 - well and truly more than double last year's fee of $88.
