Waiting Patiently

Contrary to some forecasts, the weekend turned out to have quite nice weather. The temperatures were supposed to be down to 15C in Adelaide but they didn’t get that low. Alas, we have had no snow for a while but the ground is nicely moist and the streams are flowing well. The temperature hasn’t been much below 0C for a week or so.

I have been informed that the new automated snow making system is installed and wired up. There will be a test firing tomorrow (Monday) and if all goes to plan, full snowmaking will begin one week later, on Monday 29th, in readiness for the opening of the winter season in two weeks after that, on June 10th.

There is still snow around but nothing of interest to anyone other than the odd foot tourist riding Snowgums chair.
