A New SW System

After drizzle in the village last night turned to snow around midnight, there was a promise of nice things this morning. A strong South Westerly system had reputedly dropped 10cm of new up top and a little in the village.

Some of the North East facing slopes had collected much more than 10cm while other places where stripped of new snow by the wind.

With Antons T-bar still out of action and visibility a problem first up, one of the sweetest places for freshies was Michael's Mistake.

Below Michael's the fresh snow was deep

With Anton's not running there were good freshies for the knowledgable

Later runs in Michael's Mistake had to be shared with later comers

The sun keeps trying to break through but as I type this it is snowing lightly in the village once more.
