Not a Snow Report

Heavy rains and many daily minimum temperatures above zero have reduced the snow pack to just patches that all but a few intrepid boarders are using for a kicker.

The mountains are covered in greenery and wild flowers. Mountain bikes and walking have become the main attractions apart from the fresh cool air usually found in these parts. Looks like I'll have to wait till another year to ski in December.

Apart from some freak event, I’ve resigned myself to not skiing in Australia until next June.

I’ll attempt to produce the odd off-season report when the opportunity arises. Meantime, I wish you all a great Christmas and New Year.
