Memories ...

It's not a nice day outside, although as I type away here inside, I see that Slowbums has been opened following an almost total early morning shut down due to wind that had been up around the 80s.

So instead, I thought it would be nice to post some photos that Rusutsu Pete and Lucky Phil took only 5 days ago after a trip into Leatherbarrel Creek Valley. It appears their initial descent was down into Champagne Bowl. Conditions at the bottom meant they had a long hard slog back out rather than the quicker exit back to the saddle between Main Ramshead and South Ramshead.

Speaking of Rosco, he is currently doing a bike tour through the jungles of Hokkaido with Rob, and getting to see what lies under all that snow.

Meanwhile back in reality-land: I note that all the forecasters have thrown their cards into the air again and most of them leave a bad taste in the mouth. So far we have had little rain but the big hair dryer is currently doing more damage.
