Time Travels In One Direction
The sun continued to shine (and thaw) until yesterday when light showers chased me from the slopes. The rain intensified last night and continued into this morning and I got to have a sleep in :-)
The rains have now stopped and people are back out on the slopes enjoying the (dare I say it) rain damaged cover. There's no way to hide what 45mm of rain will do to an already thinning cover.
There is still top-to-bottom skiing. Yesterday the best was High Noon whilst there was some thinning on the middle of the Supertrail. Milk Run is still good and the lower terrain park on lower Supertrail has provided much needed snow reserves as the jumps get put to a more popular use ;-) The upper slopes are all good and the snow play area in the village is alive and extremely popular.
For those who asked the question; my back has improved somewhat, although a drive to Cooma and back did it no good at all. I've come to terms with the rock hoppers and have enjoyed my short mornings on the snow. Doc said it would take around 4 weeks (that would be next Sunday) if I rested it but I guess I haven't really "rested it" ;-)
