What's In A Week?

Since a rather rapid exit from World Cup on Sunday morning I've been confined to desk duties. You know those orange poles that ski patrol put up? They do save on bones.

There's been a bit of everything this week. Despite some rain on Monday, sufficient snow fell over Tuesday and Wednesday to cover the grassy knolls at Village level on those areas where there is no snow making.

Although we have moved into September, there was still some snow making last night. Well done!

You may notice the new advert above. Land for sale at Rusutsu at amazing prices. Check it out!

Regarding my previous report about what was in the box, well, a little bird has told me that the contents of the Esky was probably water samples following a report of a dead horse in or near Lake Cootapatamba.
Yes I know, it sounded more exciting not knowing and there certainly wasn't room for a horse ;-)

The temperature up top hasn't seen the plus side of zero in several days and wind chill temps early in the week sat in negative double digits and often closer to -20C than -10C.

It has become steadily more overcast this afternoon. Some forecasters think there may be a light dusting tonight or tomorrow.
