Snow Base Update

The snow cover is hanging in there. Snowmaking has again freshened up the lower slopes keeping Friday Flat, High Noon, Sundowner and the SuperTrail in good condition, although the new snow was a little sticky under ski.

Yesterday saw the annual fund-raising Ski Patrol Race held in the Basin with a good turn out of competitors. A lot of fun was had by all.

Carnival Week is in full swing. Last night’s Cross-Dressing party in the Keller was more a treat for some of the boys, although some of the girls did put in an effort. Tonight is Body Painting and the Greasy Pole is on Saturday (postponed from Monday when it was just too cold).

Interschool Finals are on this weekend and the village will be packed. Luckily it looks as though fine weather will prevail till after the races.
