Full Frontal
The blue-sky weather has continued. Yesterday had some cloud early up and an obvious frontal system which didn’t result in anything apart from an increase in wind strength which, has dropped back to a mere breeze once again.
Yesterday’s wind did produce some wind drifts higher up. Karels held some great stashes that did not extend into the Basin. Merritts Falls, Sponars, Antons and Wiamea also had some nice drifts while Powder Bowl and Boundary Rider had none.
The grooming continues to provide fantastic on-piste riding all over the resort, although the priority today seems to have moved towards the preparation of the Subaru NSW State Interschools Snowsports Championships to be held from Thursday to Sunday.

An eBay Bargain? I'd like to say who to contact, but had better not.
The sunshine brought out all sorts of locals
There won’t be any fresh natural snow today as the cold front due to bring some has passed south of us. The dominating high appears to be pushing everything south of us. Meanwhile the snow makers have been hard at it.
Once again, the short range and long-range forecasters have altered their call for this weekend. My sister has left the village and in keeping with Interschool tradition, we can expect foul weather on the weekend. Well, that's the forecast from the pros. I'm hoping for better.
Richard’s Grumpy Report: I was invited to partake in a phone poll the other night. Just goes to show that may be some polls are real. What really annoys me are those questions asked where you can only give one answer and even worse where you must choose from a predetermined list of answers: "Which political party would you vote for - Liberal or Labor?”. That’s not a choice.
The final question “If you were Prime Minister, what would be the first thing you would do?” is just not fair. I would do lots of things and I’m expected to answer this on the spot without giving it at least 5 minutes thought. Even our illustrious leaders would / might give it more than a glancing thought.
“Mine the cheese on the moon” seemed an appropriate response. May be those polls aren’t as real as you might like to think they are ;-)
