It Just Gets Better And Better

I've already used the word 'Epic' on a previous report so I haven't left myself a lot of room for improvement, so let me use the Kiwi term 'Eepic'. Of course these superlatives are relative to Australian conditions ;-)

Gale and her cousin Blizzard came out this morning and so it was queuing on Snowgums. Luckily there were few people around as most lifts were suffering under wind and visibility. Suffice it for me to say that I stayed out 3 hours longer than usual and was still getting freshies and skiing lines that just aren't normally skiable.

I spent much of the morning with Lucky Phil as we adventured all over (within the limits of Snowgums and Sponars lifts).

I tried to take photos but either the poor vis or having too much fun meant not many photos are viewable. I'll try harder tomorrow ;-)

And all this just after Immi & Greg headed back to Tassie.

How much snow has fallen in the past 3 days & nights. I don't know but I'd say 'a lot'. The KT snow reports have not been exaggerating. Meanwhile the forecasters are planning a similar fun time next week.

Yee Haa was the common sound today. More tomorrow.

Yes, there are still vacancies in Thredbo. Don't miss out on the best season so far this century millennium. I just love this global warming - bring it on ;-)
