It's Snow Jim - But Not As Expected

The forecasts had been for possible snow at high elevations later today or tonight, so you can imagine our delight to awake to a white shroud across Thredbo Village.

It doesn't feel very cold outside and the snow quality is wet but without any wind the snow is settling on everything. Much of the new snow has melted as it hit the ground but I found 7cms settled on a metal railing.

Yesterday's grey weather marked the end of a spectacular sunny week in the Snowy Mountains as my previous report can attest.

Yes, it's still snowing lightly and my guesstimations are that this will continue for few more days.
