Make It And They Will Come
What a week it has been since my last report. Rosco put in a lightning visit to town but didn't don his planks. The boxes are on Sponars as well as Antons T-bar. We have had rain, snow, wind, calm, cool and super cool conditions. There has been a ton of snowmaking, which has more than repaired the damage last Friday's rain imparted.
We have seen two TV programs filming in and around the resort. Make Me A Supermodel (apologies if I got the name wrong) and Sydney Weekender made the most of the wonderful blue-sky conditions. Now the school holidays are kicking in. With limited natural snow cover, the crowds are limited to Supertrail (via Snowgums), Walkabout & Ballroom at Merritts, Friday Flat and High Noon. Before the rains I thought Supertrail the best of it but since then I have been concentrating on High Noon, which has an excellent cover considering we are in June and there are big crowds using the run. Terrain parks are springing up all over - not that I've been making much use of them.

Congratulations to Kim Clifford (and all) for giving his daughter Olivia away last Saturday.
Contrary to earlier predictions, forecasters have turned away from reasonable snowfalls tomorrow and later in the week. Things change quickly on the mountains. At least if the really cold air continues be assured that heaps more snow will be made.
