Colder and Wetter

The past week turned from cool days and crisp nights to cold and damp conditions with the bureau hinting at possible snow.

There has been a lot of activity on the slopes in preparation for winter. Along with the last of the slope grooming, the snowmaking hoses have been refitted and some covers.

I believe that the Kosciuszko Express is now closed for maintenance (except for next weekend’s Jazz Festival) until June.

More hoses and hay – I wonder if the brumbies know about it?

There is a 25% chance of snow tonight and there appears to be a big system heading this way later in the week, possibly to do a repeat of the wonderful snowfall during last year’s Jazz Festival.

Jazz Festival starts next Friday evening.
