Travel Without Powder

I have now had 14 days skiing in this resort in Nth America and in all that time only 16cms of snow has fallen and that was in the first week. My powder tapes remained pocketed waiting for the renown powder of this resort.

Instead of powder like Rosco is experiencing (yes he has had heaps more) I have resorted to long groomers and climbing into steep bowls for a few less groomed turns.

The drought that has hit the Vancouver Winter Olympics has spread much further a field. I wait with unfurled powder tapes for something more.
