No City Heat Here

Up until today, the wind chill on the mountain has been below zero and at times in double digits below zero. Well, the wind dropped over night and today it is warm and sunny.

The Kosciuszko Express has reopened after its annual maintenance program. Snowgums chair is now shut and may be that’s why the sun has returned to Thredbo. Steve and Sarah did not have good weather for the month they opened Black Sallees and have now shut for summer while Dave and Penny have almost completed the paint reno of Eagles Nest and are again open to the public.

Santa should be back today and again next Sunday in the Village Square. Life is generally very quiet in the village at the moment and we are loving it.

Too hot in the city? Currently up top it is 11C with a wind chill of +8C, in the village it is 16C.
