Richard's Report - Sunday, 2 February 2014 8:03:34 AM

It's Cool to be Cool and it's Not when you're Hot!

Since the school holidays and public holidays have passed things are quiet in Thredbo. There appears to be more action in the northern hemisphere and the photos donated by Rosco and Traktorman come as a pleasant interlude to the weather we are experiencing right across SE Australia.

On Friday afternoon at 6pm my balcony thermometer read 36C. Yesterday it was only 34C but luckily it has only reached 27C inside. Up on the mountain it is more pleasant with a good breeze but the flies - oh the flies.

Cooler weather forecast next week.

Just as I completed this report I received a stack of great photos from Traktorman and more from Rosco so I hope to post another off shore reporto with more and further particulars in the coming week.
