Bring Out Your Arks
From Tuesday night until yesteray (Wednesday) afternoon we received 103mm of rain in Thredbo. More than the previous big dump but surprisingly with less apparent damage and flooding. I'd say "thank heavens" but considering where the rain fell from, I'll shut up.
I didn't go out skiing yesterday but Rusutsu Peter did and took some very interesting photos during the afternoon that I now share with you along with a few I snapped as well.
I did go out today - arriving at Kosi chair at 8:20 I was in the front row - a very strange event but an indication of how few were venturing out this morning. Conditions were not as bad as I had thought they would be.

Peter pointed out the newest attraction in Thredbo - just above Conrod Straight
A wild brumby that has taken up residence inside the Thredbo resort boundary
and is enjoying what the rains have exposed :-)
Will Friday's forecast deluge be lucky number 7?
Seeing Glenn working Kosi chair this morning is an indication that snow making may well be over for 2016. I'll try and get further particulars.
