Money Can't Buy You Love
... or the best weather or snow. The Bank Holiday long weekend brought warming weather and the warming weather brought rain.
After a pleasant Saturday there was mizzle on Sunday morning with some sun later in the day and then more light rain overnight for yet another mizzly morning today - hence I'm writing this rather than riding a lift.
I spent an enjoyable time on Thursday and Friday skiing with my sister who had not skied in seven and a half years but she did very well to remember her excellent training ;-) I abandoned her on Saturday (see my previous report) so she could join the Rossignol Ladies Day group. According to my sister it past muster and was enjoyed by all.
Because conditions outside look somewhat bleak today, I include some feel-good photos taken last Wednesday (our last powder day) when Peter and crew went to Charlotte Pass for the day.
True to form - Peter and gang were first in line ;-)
Somewhat different conditions to my last visit to the Chalet
Excitement filled the air
Flaunting their long eye lashes
Freshies and no crowd: whilst Thredbo was skied out early, this lasted all day
Yes, there are many things to do at Charlottes - here's Charlie doing one of them
Making Sponge Bob's day - in not so square pants
Reality Check! This morning in Thredbo :-(
Many of the optimistic forecasts have gone south today :-) At least they are consistent in their inconsistencies.
Happy Birthday to all the horses.
