Waiting ...

There was a reasonable frost in the valley this morning despite the warm day ahead. Nor-nor-westerly winds herald an approaching cold front. The ground is slowly cooling off and the mountains await winter's white cover.

The mountain bike season is over, leaving the hills to those travelling at a slower pace.

When will it snow? When the frog seals its burrow. Tasmania has had a good dumping this week and the Victorian Alps received a brief taste a week ago.
