Waiting ...
There was a reasonable frost in the valley this morning despite the warm day ahead. Nor-nor-westerly winds herald an approaching cold front. The ground is slowly cooling off and the mountains await winter's white cover.

The seat of contemplation
A chairless cable and a cableless chair
Stationary yet moving
Hairy but cold

A contrast in colour
Even dumping a load in Thredbo can be done with precision
What appears serene to some ...
... can be exceptionally powerful and active behind the scenes
When will it snow? When the frog seals its burrow. Tasmania has had a good dumping this week and the Victorian Alps received a brief taste a week ago.
