More Open - More Closed
It appears to be kiddies' Race Week in Thredbo and we have lost the use of World Cup and Rossi Racecourse when they were only just opened on Saturday for the first time.
Fortunately Antons T-bar opened this morning and gave us access to fresh tracks - lovely. Unfortunately the queue built quickly and I departed after 5 enjoyable runs.
Sunday morning and the wind is still blowing hard
90's technology catches up with Thredbo
No complaints - it's great to see it
The usual suspects well before 8:30 awaiting the start of Kosi chair on Sunday morning

A dozen of the elusive Gang-gang (not Gangnam) Cockatoos at tower 3 just above Kosi base station
7:50 Monday morning and the kids are on the fresh corduroy already

Looking up Sponars T-bar - a fair way from opening yet
Cat Walk is in very good condition
The bottom of the steep section on High Noon still only has a thin cover as has the bottom of the Supertrail. A couple of big snow making nights should help rectify that.
I'm waiting for the winds to drop so I can get out on the range to both escape the race crowds and to get onto some of the big dry untouched wind drifts that must be out there.
With any luck, the Basin T-bar will open soon.
