Easter Tide

Thredbo is always busy at Easter and we're proud of that fact. The weather cleared to a beautiful Good Friday and continued through Saturday. Sunday was a little grey and for a while looked a little worrying with the Chris Isaak open-air concert at Friday Flat scheduled for Sunday night.

Just before the supporting acts started, the clouds parted and the wind dropped. No more need be said except that everyone I spoke to who could afford the tickets said it was a fantastic show. Well done KT for pulling it off.

Easter also traditionally results in the biggest queues of foot passengers for the Kosi chair. With the weather change, it appeared that Saturday was the big one.

As an alternative to mingling in the Easter crowds I took a stroll not far from the village on Saturday and as my photos show, there's still always a quiet place in Thredbo when you want one.

My next report coming soon, contains some very interesting photos taken on Saturday not far from Thredbo.

Again the weather is perfect. Cold nights, mild days and lots of sunshine except the bureau is telling us to expect the odd shower.

School holidays are not far away.
