Saturday morning and all seemed in order for another day's skiing. Marion spoke to Jane and she too decided to join in our less than conventional ski trip. We got off to a late start around 9:30 and took some time getting out to Sig Hill with the long hard climb from Snowgums getting harder or may be I'm just getting older.

There was a nice NW breeze to keep us cool; all the same, we had removed our vests even before climbing the hill. Once again we went prepared with coffee, water, lunch and nibbles and all was consumed with delight between runs.

It was a big day for Jane having her first ski since breaking her wrist during winter. Considering the unevenness of the bouncy snow and the maze of rocks and grass, Jane did well.

We were joined briefly at the top by baker Dan who was out strolling/climbing/sliding in regular shoes and finding it a little more difficult climbing the snow than we in ski boots were. Later in the day a father and son appeared walking down from the top over the snow. No one else on skis was sighted.

With the disappearing snow pack, it is getting more difficult to get those turns but I suspect I may still get a few more. Today was my 117th ski day this season ;-)

The greatest con of the century millennium:
Whether you believe in human caused global warming or not, you are being conned by Gillard and Co. We are told CO2 is so bad that it must be taxed so we Australians stop using it and yet the government aids increasing coal exports from Australia to other countries. This is like saying Asbestos is bad for you and yet selling it overseas. Either burning coal is bad for the planet or it isn't.

Wake up Australia, you are being conned regardless of whether you believe in global warming or not.
