The Morning After :-)

I awoke to sun breaking through the cloud and the hint of blue sky above the mountains. A thick white blanket lay over the village and the slopes looked great.

I took an early morning stroll just before it started snowing again, even though the sun is still casting long shadows over the new snow.

There's a good 10+cms in the village and probably 25-30cms up top and it's snowing again.

Skiing could be good with wind-packed drifts - if you can find a way to get to them. The wind has dropped from above 100kph to around 50kph, less in the village.

Kosi chair was due to re-open today but looking at the de-icing that will be required, I doubt it will happen today - certainly not by 9:00am. Even opening Snowgums will require digging out the 4 stations before opening.

Probably more photos soon.
