More from Rosco in a land far, far away
Rosco reports that he has had more powder and more sun. He has done some more out of resort exploring and because of the ample sunshine has submitted some more fascinating photos.
Traktorman and management, meanwhile, have been enjoying huge powder dumps in another part of the planet with face shots galore. No photos yet as the technology is a little behind the times. Hopefully when they move onto their next destination we will get to see what we have all been missing out on.
Since Rosco's last report he has had more powder
Looks good to me
It must be fun
When the sun came out so did Rob and his board
Hmm, nostalgia? Rosco once had a mono ski.
When the sun is out so are the crowds climbing to the peak
A quiet moment - dare I say a vacant moment ;-)
More sunny days and great views
A 180° panorama (4 photos stitched together) seldom seen in such clear weather
and a closer shot of the sea
Last minute additions to this report showing Janette and Brian in the untracked yesterday
and I note the sky is blue again
Whilst I am typing this report, I am once again wearing a fleece in the middle of summer in Thredbo.
Just for the record (from my archives recorded from KT weather pages), the minimum temperature recorded for December 2011 was a huge 5.3C colder than the minimum for December 2010 and the minimum temperature recorded for January 2012 was an even bigger whopping 7.3C colder than the coldest day in January 2011 - and loving it.
