Short Back and Sides

With winter rapidly approaching, Thredbo is receiving its pre-season haircut in preparation for both natural snowfalls and the commencement of snow making.

Today mowing was under way on the upper Supertrail. Apart from Merritts and upper World Cup, the rest of the resort has been either mowed or whipper-snipped.

The weather has been exceptionally nice the last week or so. Frosty mornings with warm sunny days, little wind, no flies, no crowds and sweet fresh air.

The forecast is for a cold front with some snow on Sunday and some more snow possibly in the wake of the front over Monday to Wednesday. May be instead of a white Christmas we will see a white Easter this year.
