Return To Winter Temps
Blue skies have continued into their third consecutive week. There have been a couple of “dustings” of snow but nothing worth mentioning (except I did). The temperatures are 5 to 10 degrees cooler and this has enabled the snow-makers to get back to work.
A lot of snow has been made and Supertrail, Milk Run, Sundowner and High Noon are all still operational to the bottom - and quite enjoyable. The first run from the top today was very nice indeed. Three runs later and Little Merritts was slushing up but the lower slopes were still good.
There have been small systems blowing in from the east but nothing much has come of them. Yesterday I heard reports of snow in Berridale, Dalgety and Jindabyne.

With an invasion of APEC refugees due in tomorrow and the possibility of weather deterioration, it will probably mean out of the resort or staying in bed for me.
The Australian Freeride series final looks like providing quite a spectacle on Saturday night and next week in Spring Carnival – that should supply a plethora of interesting photos by the end of next week.
