Snowmakers' Delight

Yesterday the snows were over and as the day turned from overcast to clear skies the crowds were again on the mountain.

The snow pack has hardened somewhat, mostly due to wind. Today brought -8C temps both top and bottom of the resort and with just a light breeze and very low humidity the snow stayed dry.

I missed the Big Air yesterday but caught some of the Sprite BoarderX at Merritts.

No snow is forecast in the next 4 days but the snowmakers have been able to take advantage of the cold nights and have made heaps and the quality is good - none of that sticky goopy stuff.

More fine sunny days - looks like a busy weekend coming up.
