All’s Good

Light snow showers together with snowmaking are improving the cover day by day. Each day the quality and depth of snow has improved. Merritts and Friday Flat remain the only open areas but with the huge crowds (NOT) you can pick your own line.

Today we got natural freshies. Mostly only around 5cm and with the delicious consistency of sorbet. Freshies are freshies anytime anywhere.

Conditions have been foggy with freezing mist and although we have had snow in the village overnight the daytime has drizzle.

Only the bottom of the Supertrail and High Noon require snow before they open. One reasonable snowfall or long session of snowmaking should see to it. The forecasts augur well for some real snowfalls.

WATCH OUT for changes to speed limits before and inside the national park!
There have also been radio reports of "random chain checking".
