Richard's Report - Wednesday, 31 January 2007 10:38:15 AM

I Can't Believe It's Not Thredbo

When a man's thoughts turn to flies, heat, sun cream and day trips to the coast it may be better to turn to yet another reality.

Snow base depth is lower than usual - a common theme these days - and yet any break from the heat, humidity and annoying insects is welcome.

As I sit and type this report the 'R' word has stopped and so has the following snowfall. It is warm and foggy while we await the full effects of the approaching cold front. The desperados have gone out to play in the slop with only limited lifts open. I will go shopping and get a report on what I have missed when they return.

Thanks to the computers and internet access of Yasuo san and Gary san I have been able to do some limited image editing and uploading of this report.

I'll attempt another alternate report if time and circumstances allow.
