It's Blue All Over
Thredbo hosted another wonderful Blues Festival over the weekend. 23 acts performing multiple times over venues crossing the resort. Blues weekend is always a great time to catch up with friends from all over, including Melbourne, Perth, Hobart and more.
Friday's weather was a horror with wind gusts up to 113kph and driving rain but everything settled overnight to reveal a beautiful clear blue sky, a cool day with a light breeze to help keep the flies at bay.
I don't think you could have asked for a better weekend's weather and it was enjoyed by everyone. Many thanks to the performers, sound crew, the sponsors, chamber of commerce, village staff, locals and business operators not to mention the large crowd of well-behaved and good mannered blues enthusiasts and visitors.
Below are a few photos snapped over the weekend plus a couple of teasers from Japan. I'm developing a back log that I shall try to clear over coming days.

School holidays are drawing near to their end but mountain biking, fishing and cool mountain walks are still extremely popular.
No doubt (weather permitting) there will be a big crowd venturing out to Kosi on Thursday for 'Straya Day'. The current forecast is for: "Mostly sunny. max 19C and light winds". Sounds perfect again.
